I think that not acting on your thoughts does not make you straight. It makes you a person who is experiencing same-sex attraction but is currently choosing not to act on it or denial regarding that attraction. The thoughts themselves are the sign. Your job now is not to "prove" them, but to accept them without judgment and decide, at your own pace, what you want to do with them.
And honestly, if after all of that, you feel genuinely comfortable and at peace with your current choices, then I wouldn't see any problem with it at all. What matters most is your well-being, not checking a box.
