this comic reminds me of how in 1945, the 47th army of the red army, made up of the 236th Rifle Division, 63rd and 76th Mountain Rifle Divisions, the 116th and 456th Howitzer Artillery Regiment, the 6th and 54th Tank Divisions, and engineering forces which included the 61st motorized engineer battalion, 75th independent engineer battalion, and the 6th and 54th pontoon bridge battalions. this army, being in the 2nd balorussian front, was included in the legendary berlin offensive.
