Real tho I’ve been working as a steel caster for the past year if you can get past the long ass hours the schedule isn’t that horrible 4 days on 3 days off there sometimes a 16 hour day sneak up on your ass And that actually sucks but at least the pay is decent just don’t get stuck in a warehouse where they under pay you and overwork you been through way too many of those .

Yeah, work was absolutely molesting me 😭 They had me bouncing around everywhere on a 16 Yesterday they had me go up and help the lathe guy since both of his coworkers called off because it was Labor Day, after they said they’d be there. The day before that was another 16-hour day on third shift in the cast drop pit setting up the tables. The day before that was a 14 Then a normal day before that.
And one of the dudes I work with called off for two days before that because his wife went into labor and they’re having a baby, so I covered his shifts. I swear I just worked like 90/100-something hours this week alone this is what I would call the 5th gauntlet of the year there was a week where I ended up working like 113 something hours

So, it went well... I think...
We'd agreed on meeting in small grocery store parking lot just outside the town center. Of course we'd managed to park at opposite ends and couldn't find eachother at first.
After we figured that out and finally met, I introduced her to my dogs and we decided we'd do the special holiday season walking route/ lightshow thing, where they have a bunch of pretty lights and some kind of holographic projections set up at various parks throughout town.
So we walked, and we talked, and I showed her how to walk a dog properly because she doesn't have a dog, but she caught on pretty quickly.
That took about an hour and a half, after which she mentioned she was hungry so went and got some streetfood, which I was not allowed to pay for.
We sat down on a bench to eat and did some people watching, after which we decided to head back.
Back at the cars I put my dogs away first before walking her to her car, where we agreed on having had fun and that it was definitely up for repeat. After which we hugged and said our goodbyes.
All in all we spent about two and a half hours together.
It's a bit early to say I'm in love, but I can definitely see myself falling for her.
Tldr, second date is happening.
